Meet Penny & Tula

Meet Tula!
I made a 4x4 panel with hot press watercolor paper and layered it on heavy chipboard.
Then I covered the back with a cute pattern paper and finished it up with a chain and charms hung with large jump rings.

I made this image into an atc (artist trading card). These cards always measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
If you are interested in make cards to trade check out my favorite trading sites:
www.atcsforall.com and www.illustratedatcs.com
atcsforall is open to everyone with any style and supplies. Digi stamps and rubber stamps are accepted. Illustratedatcs is their sister site and is juried. Stamps are not accepted but it's a great site if you like to draw and paint your own cards.
If you join either site make sure and add me to your friends list so I can check out your cards!

Cute Halloween cards & Gloria's Skulls

I was so excited to find this new Halloween paper pad from K&Company
It's really cute paper & double sided!

I teamed up the cute paper with bit & pieces from my scrap box and added cute clay skulls design team member, Gloria. She has so many cool items in her etsy shop. These have flat backs so they are perfect for card making! I attached mine with a little dot of hot glue.

This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
The images has been cute out and colored with copic markers

I used pop dots behind the image and sentiment
I found this cute Halloween ribbon at Michaels and attached the skull embellishment with hot glue
Dilly Beans digi stamps that I used are:
#263-zombie girl with bow
#375-cute and dark

This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with the fold on top

I colored it with Copic markers
I attached the image to the card with pop dots.
I used cool mesh web trim on the top of the card
I glued Gloria's clay skull right over the skull bow on the digi stamps
Then I glued two sizes of rhinestones under it.
The Dilly Beans digi stamps used is: #430-Skull Bow Framed

This cute monster card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and folds on the top
I printed the monster boy digi approx 4" tall
He is colored with copic markers

he has been cut out & attached to the card with pop dots.
I glued the the skull right over the heart.
The Dilly Beans digi stamps I used is: #274-Heart Monster2

This voodoo doll card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and folds on the top
I used Copic markers to color the image

welcome

Welcome to the Dilly Beans Inspirations Blog!

This is the place to be for tons of samples, patterns, ideas, tutorials & eye candy!!!
There are a few changes happening with Dilly Beans.
The digi stamp club will have some changes. I will still be offering a free digi each month but I won't be sending them by email anymore. The free image will be available here for you to save to your computer. The current image will only be available free during that month. Then it will be deleted and replaced with the next image. So make sure & don't forget to check back each month for your new freebie!

I will be adding new samples here all the time so check back often so you don't miss a thing!
I will be concentrating on clean line cards. This does not mean BORING cards this means clean lines with great coloring & layout. These will be cards that you can easily cut & reproduce yourself without needing a huge complicated blue print & dictionary to understand the process.

I will be sharing fun videos that I have created as well as sharing great ideas from others.
Do you have a great youtube channel you want to share with me & maybe have your video shared on my blog? Send me a message & I will check it out!

I will be adding the digi image name and # with my projects so if you want to purchase that image all you have to do is click on the link & it will take you right to that image in the digi store!

Are you excited???? I am!
So here are some new cards I've worked on over the last few weeks.
I hope you get inspired to create some yourself!

These cards are bright and cheery for summertime!
The both are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with the fold on the top.
The images were colored with copic markers and popped up with pop dots. This is an easy way to add tons of dimension and interest without lots of work. I also used white gelly roll pen and startdust gelly roll to add some fun highlites to the colored images. This also adds a lot without a lot of work.

I just purchased this realy great pattern paper from K & Company. It's their Poppy Seed 12x12 pad
I just love the soft colors. I was inspired when I got it home & created this group with it:
Each card measures 4 1/4x5 1/2 and folds on the top.

for this card I used a cute card sketch from
Spanish Sentiments by Dilo En Espanol

I have a thing for daisies. Love them! Here is a card 4 1/4x5 1/2 that I made with the new "hello friend" Amalia digi. This is a super fast and cute way to make a card. The image and sentiment are all in one!
I love the bright and fun colors in this pattern paper by Jillibean Soup

These are a couple samples from my awesome design team members!
Arielle and Donna created these cute cards by printing them on pattern papers and fussy cutting them out and piecing them back together. I love the way they turned out!

Arielle's project is a cute card & tag in one!
I just love how she embossed just the edge of the card base.

Donna's project is an atc. For those of you that have never heard of such a thing...it stands for artist trading card. They measure 2 1/2x 31/2" and are made to trade or swap with others. They are so much fun to collect! There are many trading sites online as well as local live trading or swapping groups. I do online trading at atcsforall.com and illustratedatcs.com

here is an atc I created using the daisy border digi and the sentiment was computer generated.
digi stamp: #345-daisy border

I hope you all feel inspired & ready to create some wonderful projects!
